Personality is the USP. Paul Carr is an opinionated tech journalist. And although he talks a lot of crap sometimes, I enjoy his writing style and I will usually read his pieces. No surprise then to find him here defending the role of the columnist in saving newspapers from certain destruction at the hands of political bloggers, twitterers and other vacuous uninformed flighty types. And rightly so, in the light of Jimmy 'Jimbo' Wales' assertions.
