I often find Plesk gets in the way of managing a server effectively, and I used to find the backup facility less than useful. Sure, security features are by design, but also, it helps to know the methods of a tool, even if they do seem non-standard.

Yes, it's the wonderful worlds of Drupal again. This forum discussion has some useful configs and methods for clearing the data of questionable usefuleness, and making backups smaller. Drupal's default is not file size optimisation, which may be a good thing in some instances.

I'm always on the lookout for new light and purpose specific editors. the problem is jumping between IDEs for different languages, which is why I eventually settled on Eclipse. I know, not light. like the hackability aspect of this project.

This looks very interesting. I wish technology like this was available while I was developing an educational interactive experience for Robben Island Museum's Robert Sobukwe complex. Multitouch can be so much more intuitive and participative which can only be a good thing for the learning goals we were trying to achieve. Our solution was touch (eventually, after prototyping multiple mouse inputs, among others)
